Here at Tele-Data, we help New Jersey based clients solve problems through VoIP phone hardware and software technology. We’ve been conveniently located in Union, NJ since 1982, right off Route 22 West.

We work with SMB’s typically between 20 and 250 users in the NJ/NY Metro area.

Unified Communications-as-a-Service (UCaaS) is one of the fastest growing technology fields, and we are looking for a Sales Engineer who can uncover business issues and formulate unique solutions to customer needs.

Successful candidates will be outgoing, quick on their feet, adjusting and adapting as necessary. Having a strong understanding of how to work in a B2B environment is critical.

At Tele-Data, we are passionate about helping customers solve business problems through Cloud Based Phone system technology. Our expertise lies in VoIP phone system design and white-glove implementation services.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist the sales team with technical knowledge pertaining to the products and services offered by the company
  • Ability to present software and hardware based solutions in front of prospects and clients (At customer location and remotely)
  • Design client-specific, technology-based solutions
  • Serve as a liaison between sales and operations for new customer on-boarding projects
  • Report on sales support activity and results
  • Support the company by a attending customer meetings, partner meetings, trade shows and other related events
  • Conduct account reviews and strategize on upcoming opportunities
  • Articulate the company’s offerings, capabilities, and key differentiators
  • Promote the company brand internally and to partners and prospects
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach in verbal, written and in-person communication and lead development
  • Capture and document customer requirements and current LAN/WAN architecture

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of UCaaS or telecom experience required
  • 2+ years of sales engineering experience required
  • Superior oral and written communication and documentation skills
  • Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN and cabling infrastructure

Tele-Data Solutions is an INC 5,000 privately-held Unified Communications-as-a-Service (UCaaS) provider that powers the communications systems of hundreds of small businesses throughout New Jersey. Tele-Data Solutions is rapidly scaling and is looking to hire a hyper-organized and detail-oriented office professional who is able to bring the appropriate level of process and management to all of our administrative and office-related tasks and procedures.

A successful candidate:

Is experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Organize and monitor office operations and procedures, and serve as point person for maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies and inventory, equipment, bills and errands
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
  • Partner with HR and IT in the coordination of office policies, equipment; and to ensure the security, integrity and confidentiality of all data
  • Manage relationships and contracts with office vendors, service providers and office lease
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Ensure that results are measured against standards, while making necessary changes along the way
  • Perform review and analysis of special projects and keep the management properly informed
  • Stay current on trends in office management and provide recommendations to the executive team
  • Participate actively in the planning and execution of company events
  • Responsible for developing standards and promoting activities that enhance operational procedures
  • Establish and monitor procedures for record keeping while ensuring filing systems are maintained and current

Requirements

  • Associates / Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of proven office management, administrative, and/or assistant experience
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Superior attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Knowledge of:

  • Accounting, data and administrative management practices and procedures
  • Clerical practices and procedures
